Award Types
Need-Based & Merit-Based
Need-Based: Seekers' eligibility is determined by their financial and circumstantial needs. Special priority is given to indigenous persons and people of color, individuals with mental health battles, those struggling with housing, and members of the LGBTQAI+ community.
Merit-Based: Eligibility is determined by a seeker's artistic, metaphysical, and experiential accomplishments. In these cases, financial need will not be factored in as part of eligibility. We recommend applicants go in depth about any potent or significant moments that have impacted their journey. Everything will be considered.
The Occulture Academy is focused on inclusion and impact, which is why we offer seekers and current apprentices scholarship opportunities to give everyone a chance to be a part of this community. In these cases, we ask that students be willing to enroll full time and participate in the classes and programs offered. You will also be required to book an enrollment call so we can get to know you better.

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships are available for international seekers.

To be considered for an Occulture Academy scholarship, submit a complete application by April 20. Late applicants will only be considered if all scholarships spots are not filled. Otherwise, you will be placed on a waitlist until the following semester.

Each scholarship has a different length, depending on need. This can range from one semster to several full years at no expense. Our available funding and the overall quality, characteristics, and needs of the applicant pool will determine the value of cumulative scholarships awarded.

Scholarships will not be included in future Club, House, and Guild dues. However, these groups may have their own awards and stipends to give out as well.
